Improved Outcomes

Improvement outcomes will vary between individuals. Positive outcomes depend upon, but are not limited to:

  • the parents’ commitment to the home-based program being completed as prescribed,
  • the child’s willingness to engage with the home-based program as prescribed, and
  • the complexity of the child’s situation and needs.

Some children may be better suited to a one on one individualised program when extra support and attention may be needed.

Testimonials

Testimonials on this website from parents and educators have been provided by satisfied clients. They are not intended as a guarantee that everyone who engages Brainfit Kids will achieve the same or similar results. We make every effort to represent our services and their potential accurately. However, achieving optimal functional outcomes rests mostly with adherence to the prescribed home care program and accompanying advice.

Adherence

Paediatric therapy and education are hard work for both the child, who may not appreciate and value the bigger picture, and for the caregiver, who has to assume the role of therapist at home to ensure the home-based program is adhered to.

Engaging and motivating a child to complete their home-based program daily can be stressful and challenging for caregivers. However, it is the proven way to achieve improvement outcomes.
